I love singing and I want to share it with the world! I created this channel as an outlet to get the music that's on my heart and in my head out! Hey there! Where to start... Hmm, ok here goes.

My name's Matt, and I'm originally from Minnesota. But I've been living in Canada for the last 19 years, so I'm a dual citizen. My dad is a Christian missionary, so we lived in about ten different places growing up, including the Netherlands, Chicago, Toronto, Ottawa, and Alberta. Music has always played a big role in my life, and my family is very musical. My mom has an awesome voice, and can play a wicked guitar solo! As a kid I sang in alot of different musicals, right up through my teen years. I also sang in alot of different choirs, including being the only male in the soprano section of a huge choir when I was 14! :) I graduated high school in 2003, and I've been working the same job, doing stucco, for over 8 years now. I enjoy doing missions work as well, and I've been on several missions trips, including to Russia twice. After highschool I went to Bible college for one year, and was on the school travelling singing team. The next year I travelled full time with an a capella sextet. I love a capella music, and that was totally the best year of my life! We travelled all over Canada, parts of the US, and finished with a 3 week tour in Asia with a missionary speaker. (India, Nepal, Thailand, Myan Mar, and Bangladesh).

Several months after that I decided to join the US Marine Corps as a reservist, and I shipped off to Parris Island for boot camp. It was a CRAZY, hellish, 3 months. But in the end it was an awesome accomplishment and experience!! I lost my voice for up to a whole month afterwards, and I thought I might never be able to sing again. But thankfully, God healed my voice, and it came back even stronger! After training in missouri for 6 months, I came back to my home here in Canada, and I'm currently in the reserves out of PA. I got married to my wonderful wife Stephanie in May 2009, and life is a beautiful thing right now!

So that's my crazy life in a tiny nutshell! Who knows what's next?! Life's an adventure! I would love to be a singer for a living, or at least be in some sort of music based career. We'll see where God leads me next. I love music, and I hope I can share that love with you!
