BC travels - 03 - Sooke stories
Then, after the time on salt spring, I met Matt. This was fated. We crossed in the woods and knew we were going to travel together... then, the morning I leave the island on a whim, he is standing at the ferry dock, considering getting off the island.
I tell him that I am headed to Sooke to follow a recommendation I got from a friend... I add that he would be welcomed. He checks his heart, and confirms : he's in.

Bc travels - 01 - Carnie days!
One of the first milestone of my time in BC was getting a job. This could not have happened in a more random way... a guy who picked me up while hitching told me about this... turns out they were placed right next to my friends place... I went and asked questions, become a carnie within an hour.
This was the hardest 5 weeks of work I can remember :S

BC travels - 02 - Mount Maxwell
After jumping off the carnival trail, I visited a friend that was Woofing on salt-spring island... we found each other to be good company and stayed connected for a bit. After a bit of a heartshake with one of her friends, I decided to walk the mountain alone... with barely any preperation, and no idea what I was getting into.
That mountain spared my life O_O
