@MrKingsRow Dotties second son, Mo, passed away in January 2010. Another use let me know that, pretty sad he was only 54. I loved Dottie and her music very much as well.

She was absoutly wonderful, beautiful voice, and a very beautiful woman. She acutally seemed to get more beautiful as she got older.

@theoffice1111 Its not the case but yeah I loved living in a smaller community. Everyone knows each other and there is a feeling of community.

@xxxxyyyyzzzz4444 Yes I know but this episode aired in 1961 and the events they are showing in the acutal footage and so forth occured in 1960. That always struck me as very odd becuause he introduces an elderly lady and the episode itself shows her as young.

@preachboy3 She was acutally set to record a new album with a Swedish singer (cant recall the name at the moment) and was already booked up for shows. She was gaining her popularity back and sadly died before it happened.

@machenderson I agree she was one of the finest ladies of country music but she wasnt killed in her limo. She was a passenger in an old car, being driven by her neighbor and he lost control and crashed on the exit ramp.
