the spring is for one hand removal..you loosen the screw, and then push the screw with your left thumb and it will push the right mounting bracket out.

when you say on your night stand what do you mean? like in the drawer, do you have a holster attatched to the side of your nightstandd? i want to start sleeping with a gun readily available, but right now i get nervous when its out of the safe.. any suggestions?

this guy ate his pride and posted a video of him shooting himself. i have to say it was a stupid mistake but i have a lot of respect that he shared this with the gun community on youtube because it is a huge learning point for beginning shooters or shooters that are new to blackhawk's serpa desig...

great job! my only complaint...NOT ENOUGH BARI SAX!!

i know no one likes the sigma, but it was my first gun and it was tough in the beginning with the trigger pull, but i practiced and now im shooting one hole at 7yards! but with my m&p, p226 or kimber jeeze! i can hit a freakin dime at10 yards like it was no one's business!

pete, i am looking to buy my first 1911, but i want to get one in .40S&W. i either want a kimber or colt. Have you ever heard of one in .40?
