Michael Massey is a singer, songwriter, pianist, producer who has written or collaborated on over 250 rock & pop songs. He has won a dozen ADDY awards for excellence in original music for advertising. For more than two decades Michael toured the U.S. and Canada as frontman, singer/pianist in venues ranging from small nightclubs to 10,000 seat arenas . He has performed on numerous television productions including Star Search. 2005 was a remarkable year. In May, the instrumental piano album, "Be Careful How You Say Pianist" was released to critical and popular acclaim. In July, he co-wrote and co-produced a score with Jack Letourneau of E Labs Multimedia for the computer animated feature, "Time, Space", for the Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Mike also composed an orchestral piece for the University Of Michigan Alumni that was broadcast to the 110,000 strong on the jumbotron in Ann Arbor during Wolverine football games. "Attack Of The Delicious", a second album of 12 fresh new pop songs, was finished in early November with a feeling of great accomplishment. Nearly two years in the making from conception to fruition, it is a work that Massey is proud to have bear his name. On March 18th of this year, "Attack Of The Delicious" nabbed the honors of Pop Album Of The Year in the Madison Area Music Awards. In April, Mike contributed the score for John Urban's short film, "The Blue Wire" for the Wiskino Film Festival. The score ranged from quirky, to sappy, to death metal. May debuted the third original children's musical in as many years. The performance drew rave reviews. June has Massey working with Letourneau again on a score for a trailer for an upcoming feature at the Adler, as well as adding some piano tracks to Chicago's Tommy Ford's new album.
