"Legend: The Personification of Cars" video took place on Wednesday, November 11th (Veterans' Day) at 11 a.m. in the NEWSroom. We picked up a stack of brochures and perused the adjectives that described each automobile. We identified which description best fit our personality and spoke on camera from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Amityville Legend dealership (158 Merrick Road) and from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Massapequa Legend dealership (5775 Merrick Road).

From the 2010 smart, conservative Jetta (that "plays nice" with others) to the powerful and aggressive Porsche Cayenne (that doesn't need to play nice with others), We shot the "Legendary" personification of cars video on location Veterans' Day, November 11th, and witnessed modern-day film-making at its finest. Ironically, Wikipedia's definition of legend includes: "legends apply structures that reveal a moral definition to events, providing meaning that lifts them above the repetitions and constraints of average human lives and giving them a universality that makes them worth repeating through many generations." The final cut airs from November 16th through the 22nd and contains Massapequa students, residents and merchants discussing on camera, "If I were a car..."
