I am a self published author with my own imprint -- the Rooskie Press. I have always been interested in history. I have an M.A. with second class honours in history from Glasgow University. My recent books are historical fiction -- mystery and adventure, but with extensive historical notes, including notes on my sources.My latest book -- Solway Sleuth-Hounds:The First Recruit -- is for age eleven upwards. For young adults to adult. When not working on my books I am very busy with my little Papillon. We do canine freestyle and I am always working on new routines and teaching him new moves. He really enjoys it, especially when tit-bits are available.
