Of all the interpretations I've heard, this is my favourite. He doesn't take the first movement too slow, like Hess or the last too quick like many others who seem to rush it, almost obliterating the melody and ending up sounding, as another comment says, too technical.

This arrangement of Chets' is so good, it can be played with just the guitar. I just learned it ( from his 1961 album) and use a bit of delay on a battery powered Micro Cube amp, and will put it in my busking set.. Chet was and still is the greatest.

@kerrgal That's OK. I heard The Byrds version in '75, not knowing the origin untill about 20 years later when I saw it on the P. Seeger live LP whilst looking through a junk shop (known as charity shops now!). There wasn't alot of information available on this kind of thing back in the 70s!
