I'm pretty sure most of the Frito Lay cheese snacks/chips in Japan have sugar mixed in with them. I had a similar experience when I first got here and discovered bags of Nacho Cheese Doritos at a local Beisia.

From what I remember, most of the complaints people had with the Bouncer weren't based around it not being an RPG, they were based around the game not living up to the original concept videos that were shown.
