It's amazing, where I live (the real world) most people like both sports, despite what the media portrays. Yet on YouTube you get a minority of twisted individuals who either hate soccer or hate Aussie rules.

I feel sorry for people in that situation but hopefully the silver lining is people who hear these stories will start to think twice before taking on huge amounts of debt to buy property that will not necessarily increase in value.

IMO convicted rioters should be given lengthy community service sentences. For example, working as free labour to the tradesmen that repair the damage, who then pass on the cheaper cost of repairs.
