Creative Lighting Design & Engineering is an independent design and consultation firm specializing in the expressive use of light in architecture. Light is our artistic medium to sculpt shadow into texture and to build dramatic settings with color and imagery. Our diverse background included experiential and commercial architecture, residential and landscape projects, casinos, museums, retail centers, hospitality projects, and community development; previewing our designs with an extensive use of photo-accurate renderings. Since 1991, we have developed dramatic yet economical lighting solutions to focus attention, create drama, drive emotions, provide an experience, or create excitement. We understand the technology and psychology of illumination, as well as the art and mystery of light.

About this user

Principal Marty Peck's design perspective bridges the art and engineering of lighting, acknowledged through over 30 top IIDA Lighting Awards. His creativity and passion for light began in the theater, having taught and designed stage lighting while acquiring an electrical engineering degree. As engineering manager of lighting manufacturer he developed a revolutionary outdoor image projector. He holds a Lighting Certification from the NCQLP, a BSEE degree, membership with the Themed Entertainment Association, is Registered in the State of Wisconsin, is section past-President of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IESNA), and is one of 170 fully-accredited Professional Members worldwide in the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD).

Marty is joined by Jacqueline Kinney, Teresa Haas and Garrett Maas. Jacki has a MA in architecture and Teresa and Garrett have BA in architecture from the UW Milwaukee School of Architecture.
