As far as I know this was at Birmingham City's St Andrews ground. If you recall there is a long scene from the Birmingham Town Hall as well. A number of years ago the Birmingham Evening Mail had a pic showing the shooting in one of their retro editions. Where did you get the info about Wembley?

Taggs Island on the BBC One Show 15th Feb 2012

4 hours of farting around, running Ben Fogle and the team by boat around the island in May 2011, compressed into 30 seconds in vision on BBC1

    martynhanson martynhanson commented:

This is connected to Clockwork Orange. If you look at 3mins 56 secs on this film and look at 4mins 33secs in the movie you can see it - it's the scene where Alex's Droogs fight Billy Boys Hells Angels. Wow!

Ovett could have run faster but injuries etc robbed him. However, the main thing is if you go to the IAAF website you will see that time of 3-48-4 is recorded as a WR and Scott does not appear as he never broke a world record. I'm not having a pop at Scott - it is just an example.

    Seb Coe-Yorkshire Championships 5000m.May,1980

    martynhanson martynhanson commented:

Not sure of I am classed as a Coe 'detractor', but what I do know is when Ovett was doing 5000m all sorts of people got on the band wagon against his prowess at the distance. Now I can see that Coe has been given huge swathes of the benefit of the doubt on the basis of this one very, very low key...

Below tells you everything you need to know about people who hated prog. It wasn't ELP, GET IT? It was Greg Lake and Emerson and Palmer had nothing to do with it. But then you wouldn;t know that and you're not interested either. It's the same cliches about prog over and over again.

U2 I Believe in Father Christmas

U2's cover of "I Believe in Father Christmas"

    martynhanson martynhanson commented:

As an ELP fan I'm glad U2 covered this song. It's not as good as Greg's, but for me it can only help people to realise that the orginal is one of the best xmas songs. The fact it is underated is criminal and I assume it's because many don't know who Greg Lake, so it gets relatively ignored.
