How many times will Christian apologists shout "Isis was not a virgin!!" when her epithet as "Virgin" is demonstrated on the walls at the temple of Abydos in Egypt?

They claim, for example, that "Christ mythers" hang-on everyword of religion researchers and credential-less "Christ-myth" authors, but reject credible New Testament or Biblical scholars who studied intently (and many of which are only theologians), and that they should not because religion researchers and "Christ-myth" authors are not experts in the field. This, again, is a fallacious argument. We might well apply their fallacious argument back to them, by stating that they should not reject the work of scholars in other fields like archaeology, Egyptology, comparative religion and so forth, because New Testament and Biblical scholars are not experts in that field either.

There is a raging battle for arguments which seem to center around appeals to authority. In their stagnating delusion and crankish behavior, they call us "Christ mythers" and maintain that we reject the word of great Biblical scholars. This is rubbish and is nothing more than an ad hoc arguments, circular reasoning and red herrings. The problem with Christian apologists is that they themselves believe what they believe to be true in the abscence of other authorities, and back up their fallacies with the idiotic mechanism of "faith", when the facts do not coincide with their "evidence".
