I suggest every one yo listen to the english concert version of this work using harpsichords and other original instruments. This video is fun only for the famous artists playing but the english concert version is a real one.

This is a very accurate rendition. The right hand accompaniment where E is played first in C major, then in A minor and finally in E major sounds like a rain. This version helps you understand what newer ones fail to do.
