I can watch this with my 91 year old mother or 24 year old niece . It s pure entertainment .

Disney at it s best . And the teapot even looks like Angela Lansbury , her croaky voice is just perfect for the teapot . Love it

I Love this film . Clever use of songs as hymns . clever dialogue. On the face of it, the film is a good laugh but it 's actually very clever.

This rendition of ''I will follow him'' is brilliant and a clever contrast to the rendition earlier in the night club .

ah an age of innocence and when we could happily let the children sit infront of a television without us acting as censor. Excellent. My dad used to come for tea and sit with the children and watch it . happy days .

It all comes down to the poverty, lack of opportunities, education and work that they suffered at the hands of the ruling upper and middle classes. And with recent government cuts hitting the working classes yet again , it will make more deprivation in this neglected city ! Hopefully it won't ...

I first heard this on Inspector Morse when Morse was dieing and staggering about with his heart attack . Then I used it for my dad s funeral. I still sob when iI hear it .

All very well for the sophisticated , modern , violent , bad language ,sexual stuff imposed on us by films , this is a simplistic , timeless masterpeice enjoyed by millions .

Angela Lansbury's croaky voice is perfect for the character . The animation and personifications are masterly drawn .
