I was in HS when this came out, remember there was so many of these one hit wonder back in the 70's great music and times.

I was in grammar school when this came out but man did it play all through the mid and late 70's on our HS jukebox, yes we had a jukebox in our HS. I ask my kids if they know what jukebox is and they look at me like I am crazy.

I am getting close to the big 50 and i remember this song when I was in HS, didn't watch MTV back then, no time. We left the house at 6 hung out and didn't watch much TV. But what great music in the 70's and early 80's.

@helga284 agree totally, went to hs 76-80, some great bands those years and all through my teenage years. I really feel bad for the crap my kids have to listen today.

This song was a hit when I was graduating from college, and it then played at every wedding till about 1990. Pretty good big hair bands from the 80's.

the last great arena bands from the mid 80's I was already out of college when Guns was big but they did have some great songs.

We listened to this song all through freshman year in HS, back then a good album came out ever couple of weeks, Zeppelin, The Who, Genesis, Supertramp, Styx, AC/DC, The Eagle, Aerosmith. I feel sorry for my kids what the have to chose from today.

Foghat was the very first album, was Foghat live and think it was 76 or 77. Man such good much back then, not much new or fresh today. I feel sorry for my teenage kids.

I turned 19 on 23 august 1980, and the drinking ago was 18, don't remember much. What great tunes, everything was much slower then. My kids don't even take the time to listen to a entire song today.

I was a freshmen in HS school, I don't remember all these songs. Also was the time that if you were a rocker disco sucked. I have learned over the years that all music is good.

I remember this song, I was 12 growing up in Queens NY. This song always reminds me of summertime. I remember the summer of 76 everyone was listening to Fleetwood Mac.

I saw Styx at Madison Square Garden, I think in 79, was a great concert as Styx was not one of my favorites, went with my friends. What great times when concert tickets were less than $20.

Great to see this, I was a junior in high school when this came out. All the local bands played this at the high school dance where i met my future husband. We are still together and our oldest daughter leaves for college this month. Boy do i miss those days. Time goes so fast so enjoy everyday

I was at this show, was 15 scalped ticket for $35. What a trip to see Zeppelin at 15. The garden full or reefer smoke and was able to buy a beer.

yeah maybe youre right and some good stuff did come out in the 1980's, I probably more so dropped from the scene as I had to get a job after college and get to work.

they also did the same thing in NJ, saw Areosmith, Journey, Nugent, Foreigner, Heart at Giant Stadium back in 1978 or 79, what good times, today lucky a rock band can fill madison square garden, are there any rock bands left

yeah one or two groups that take 4 years to put out new stuff. In the 70's there was 20 groups active like cold play putting out an album every 2 years.
