When I first heard this album I thought it was a massive departure from Nihility, but now after so many listens, Im beginning to think it actually still retains alot of the elements that made Nihility their best album IMO. what do you guys think of this?

@GohModley I dont care what you think of Vogg, when I first got into his music at the age of about 14 I wanted to be like him and he is a hero to me. He is a truly great musician, capable of playing with a lot of technical skill and also writing great riffs. Who wouldnt want to be like him?

I love Vader and Behemoth too, but Decapitated will always be my favourite of the Polish death metal bands, I discovered them first and they have a special place in my heart as one of my favourite death metal bands ever alongside Death, In Flames and Necrophagist. Theyre amazing!

@hecbiz75 Give him a break man, he's just getting into it, at least hes trying to understand why people like very heavy stuff like Cryptopsy, Hate Eternal etc. You have to be eased into it, much easier to listen to the old school death metal such as Death/Morbid Angel/Entombed/Grave etc first

This episode is so intense, I cannot begin to imagine the amount of distress and the thoughts that would have been going through Light's head when he realised he had been caught. The ending was incredibly powerful... This is one of the greatest works of fiction ever made.

Light is such a fucking disgusting character, even as his father is dying, he's more concerned with getting him to write Mello's name in the notebook than the fact that he's about to die.

this is cool, it reminds me of Vader :) by the way, Deicide does not suck, listen to "dead by dawn" of their first self titled album, it is the single most hate filled song I have ever heard

@firemaiden34 I totally get what you mean dude, no band apart from Slayer has filled with me as much a sense of power as Cannibal Corpse does. In Flames has touched me deeper than any other band though, their incredible sense of melody is unrivalled
