  Nevermind it says if you use a magical lance it can strike in subsequents turns. If you use a normal lance it is only on the charge and then you use a magical weapon like a sword in subsequent turns of combat.

  a lance is only used if you charge. so you would not get to keep any bonus that a magical lance gives you in protracted combats. Just the same you as a bretonnian player cannot use a magic sword on the turn you charge. Brets have to use a lance when they charge.

I am correct. The book says reaper bolt thrower. Str 4, and -2 to armor save. The books do not repeat the rules for you. Str 4 is a -1 to armor save to start with and then the other -2 for -3.
