I'm Marshall i play guitar. I love to play hardcore/metalcore music cause it's especially fun and complicated to play so it's more of a challenge. I play a Tom Anderson Custom w/bass wood back a maple top and a rosewood neck w/ an original Floyd Rose (i had it blocked) and EMG pickups, and an Black ESP LTD MH-250 with EMG pickups and also w/ an original Floyd Rose. On my Tom Anderson I use .10 gauge earnie ball strings, and on my ESP i use .12 gauge earnie ball not even slinky strings. I also use a Line 6 Bogner Spider Valve 212 amp w/ a FBV Shortboard. The way i record is the same way as many guitarists on youtube: direct input recording. I video myself playing the song while recording my audio through direct input into my digidesign m-box 2 pro, then i sync the two feeds and add the original song as a backing track. I didn't originally do this, as you can probably tell from my earliest videos, but this will be the style that I upload all my videos in from now on. Also if anyone wants really reliable tabs for a song that I've made a video for, just ask me and I'll make them for you. If you want tabs for a song that I haven't made a vid. for you may still get your tabs. If i get enough people asking for the same song I'll learn it, tab it, and post the video.
