She's from the UK, so definitely not Canadian. She did have her only Top 40 hit in Canada and the USA with this song however. She truly is a talented vocalist!!

I bought a Three Dog Night CD in 1995 that features all of their Top 40 hits except this one. It was great to finally hear it!! Excellent ballad.

I'm in a choir in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and we're learning this song now. They make it look effortless here, but I can assure anybody it is difficult (especially as far as timing is concerned). It will come together in the end.

Roberta totally owns this song. I believe there's a video of The Fugees perfoming this with Roberta Flack and it's very good. The Fugees re-make is good, but not the same.

Is she the one who sings "Rock bottom"? I remember seeing that video on CMT back in 1997, and I've been looking to find it for a while and haven't come across it anywhere. I would love to see it posted if anyone has it on VHS or some other source.
