Always liked this song written for MJ by Steve Porcaro from Toto, very expressiv version, hey, but who is playing, nobody says it?? must it remain a mystery?

Nice to see him play even for a clip, a good memory, and that vocoder harmonies fiddling all around, what a work, soft and rich forever, advanced in sounds and still easy to listen.

This shows even some sounds are simple they remain still very creativ and musical for the abilities of the synth at the time, but Herbie is so gifted.Then comes in the piano, beautiful timeless mood. Textures is a good title.

One re-discovery I made from Herbie, it's a really progressiv tune, fusion with real interesting synth sounds (good to show the possibilities of those polyphonic monster machine of that time, prophet, Oberheim..), that stays chill for a while but grows and grows in changes, with a good bass groov...

Excellent really, I didn't knew Herbie's work so good at these times, but it's so good to discover it ever afterwards, and these sweet flying layers and atmospheres of beyond. Great master of music without doubt. This mood is the kind that should lead you to states even without the help of smokin...

For old Genesis fans or Steve Hackett music reminds me "After the ordeal" from selling or Voyage of the Acolyte, beautiful guitar theme anyway, I like it.

Kind of prog like Genesis, Marillion music, pretty enough...

Why not, people said it's like a old Genesis style revival, sounds like with complex structures and mellotron and lot of melodic synth, the voice is much more near from fish of marillion. Ultimately for the fans of prog genesis, why not? check it.

I always liked this song, but this rendition got unfortunatly really to much reverb on his voice, like the drums, even if the real drums and some guitars adding was a good thing to the keyboards and drum machine.

A sad story, I expect something else from stevie, although his music from that area was at his higher point, is lack of gratitude for bob and malcolm can be seen maybe in the quality becoming thinner of his work afterwards.

Ah, This is why Tangerine Dream couldn't maybe hold a tuning more than 20 minutes like most of there recordings in the seventies, this is so close to Ricochet, Encore stuff? I like this sequence with some soft parts going under, very smooth.

This trip without the rain would have been even better, this music from suzanne is one of my favourite, a fine balance between synth mastery and piano.

This is the music Suzanne made after her early electronic search was, it sounds between new-age and classical, the image is maybe not totally accurate, we are not really listening to a Buchla machine this time. Beautiful mood anyway.

Have the chance to own a copy of her album Seven waves, the whole is soft and marvelous, a pity it isn't more known as it should be, very relaxing mood and the analog sounds make it also somehow experimental, still musical. A strange and beautiful album from a lady sound pioner. More please.

It's strange, when looking for this "floating music" album, sometimes it's only credited from Robert Schroeder only ( on the front), I know IC was the company of Klaus Schulze at the time, but how was he really involved, did he played with Robert or was is just the sound design or the production,...
