As ever Yello manage to make not just great stuff but something that really is a cut above the rest.Perfect for the I-pod and good headphones to bring out all the detail.

I have the CD it comes from and this is in my opinion the best track Yello have done.

Jeff Lynne has done some awesome stuff and this is no exception.It's hard to believe it was done in 1981 and yet it sounds so great.Jeff could make a song out of a grocery list if he wanted to.Jeff is a genius but choses not to make a fuss but marvellous tunes.

Jeff Lynne worte this song and it proved to be the only #1 ELO had.Olivia Newton John did the lead vocal and ELO did the rest. Jeff Lynne has been accused of being boring but he tries to bring his enthusiasm and skill to all his work.This version was released on Flashback around 2000/2001.

I wish Jeff Lynne would be kind enough to include the B-side songs on some of his albums when they get re-released.Jeff is so talented and there are some songs out there which won't get heard otherwise. Borderline is a classic example,simple but it does very quickly gets you singing along.

Sadly this is not the way to enjoy ELO.Jeff Lynne was sad to end ELO but felt he had done enough. The former members almost sound like a pub band as oppossed to a class act. Jeff Lynne had taken legal action as the new band chose to peform his stuff and not give him the credit as it were.

OK she's not perfect but she still rocks.It's a hard job to stay in the music industry for 20 years and still have originality. Kylie may not be popular with everyone but she must be doing something right to keep the fans coming back for more.
