Here are some "rough" video demos I made for some of my over 100 songs I have written and copyrighted. As well as a LOT of ones that I like by other artists
About Me:
As a kid, my brother and I would write funny limericks. It developed into poetry shortly after. Then I heard the song "Bomb Iran" on the radio. It was a parody of "Barbara Ann". It got the wheels in my creative head going. I wrote a few verses parodying the song "YMCA" by The Village People. I called it "Ayatollah" after the Ayatollah Khomeini" who was holding US soldiers hostage at that moment. I never saved it though. But maybe that is where it all started.
Then, after my first girlfriend dumped me in 1983 I started my first song. I tried to put words to the song "Pipeline" by the group The Chantays. I only came up with one line. Then writer's block.. Not enough "life experience" or pain. Then last year, after losing connection with an online friend, and the frustration of how deeply their friendship had helped me through tough times recently, Seems I now had some good life experience. Plus my knack for using analogies to describe things to people to make them understand better.
