My name is Mark. I have been playing guitar for a while now, bordering on 5 years. I've always been a good song writer tho as i've been writing stuff for around 15 years.

In terms of singing/playing I've been on a musical journey. I started dabbling in singing in 2005 and if i can be self critical i thought i was ok, but was not aware of what i needed to improve.

Being very much a beginner and not having lessons I had no idea what to do to improve as no one gave me any feedback.

Then one day I was given crticism and was told by a watcher at an open mic night to "You're in need of improving your voice" this was in 2009 and i decided to improve myself.

I was always self confident in my ablity but was very aware that at the same time people's opinions do matter, I wanted to play gigs as i knew i could write songs.

So i took up online vocal lessons, sung, sung, sung, did busking, read books on guitar and had one or two vocal lessons.

I'm improving and learning new things all the time.

Please ignore any old videos dating back to 2009 or 2010 as they dont do me any justice, i've joined a band this past month and use this channel to mark my progress

As beatles once said "I'm getting better, a little better all the time"
