Prior venturing into the independent production world, Marisela Riveros was the Senior TV Producer for Bloomberg News Latin American channel. She joined Bloomberg L.P. in July 2000 after graduating from Montclair State University with a BA in Broadcasting.
In the Bloomberg Latin American channel, Riveros acted as the head Producer for Intercambio Bloomberg, a 30-minute interview show of in-depth discussion of current market and economic issues. She secured high-profile interviews for both Intercambio Bloomberg and Reporte Financiero Bloomberg, with newsmakers such as Algerian Energy and Mines Minister/OPEC President, Shakib Khelil, London Metal Exchange CEO, Martin Abbott, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Carlos Gutierrez, Senator Bob Menendez, Azteca America, CEO, Luis Echarte, among other personalities of the financial world.
As Field Producer, Riveros coordinated the live-television coverage of international events such as, OPEC Extraordinary Meeting, IMF/World Bank Fall Meetings, World Copper Conference, The Americas Summit, and MERCOSUR.
