I'm an author with a passion for weaving actual events and historical figures into fiction.

My parents were Hungarian refugees who arrived in the States in 1947 following years of missionary service in war-torn central China. I was weaned on their tales of adventure and escape. Intrigue is part of my DNA.

When I began plotting my debut Pucci Lewis WWII home front mystery novel, LIPSTICK AND LIES, I couldn't help transmitting what I had absorbed into the story's events and characters, inspired by a little-known true incident of home front espionage.

HOLLYWOOD BUZZ, my second novel in the series, finds my protagonist Pucci in Hollywood, taking on fascist operatives determined to subvert Hollywood's silver screen contributions to the war effort.

In the Pucci series, I especially wanted to cast much deserved sunlight on the band of flying sisters, the Women Airforce Service Pilots or WASP.
