Born Maressa Zahirah on the 28th May 1988, in Singapore to a Portugese-Pakistani mother and Javanese-Malay father. She has two siblings, an older sister Marena and younger brother Merhan. Her father was a band singer when he was younger. Her uncle was a keyboardist whose music is still heard on Singapore radio until today (Les Fentones).
Mainly influenced by her parents, R&B and pop artistes and recently jumped on the K-Pop bandwagon.
- started singing at 3 years old
- first public performance during her kindergarten years at the age of 5.
- in Primary School, performed with the Malay Cultural Dance club and school choir and at various concerts, singing songs from the Spice Girls and other pop groups,
- in Secondary school, started doing solo performances for concerts and graduation parties.

- Lead singer for "Project Cleft" promo single
- performed for numerous shows and events
2011
- Invited to join Stage Without Borders talent contest.
- Featured on 89.7FM Go Glam: Opening Act
- Top 10 in KBS' KPop World Star 2011
- First Place iSubs 1st Anniversary Kpop Cover Contest.

Now an Oklahoma City University alumni, Maressa still performs publicly, and wishes to one day get a record deal.
