About this user

My name is Marco Chaparro, I'm the creation director of 311 Label from the south of Brazil.

I first started to photograph two years ago with the desire to improve my audiovisual language, which is my greatest passion between all of the tools that I use in my professional development. Therefore, photography has been a source of creation. I've done some laboratory works for local music, fashion and trend magazines such as www.noize.com.br and www.avoid.com.br and right now I'm preparing storyboards of personal projects focused on behavior and neo expressionism; with this material I plan on creating new collections for future exhibitions.

I have many references in my background -- but I chose to highlight a few specifics such as cinema, music and 70's and 90's trends, the literature of Tolkien, Doniken, Nietzsche and Kafka, and the Californian culture.
