¤ I reside in Newport Beach with my wife, Diane and my two children. I was raised in Newport Beach and attended University of Southern California's Business Schools Entrepreneurship Program in 1989.

¤ I was introduced to real estate shortly after college when I purchased a condominium with seller financing and a low down. After a few years, the seller declared bankruptcy, in which he included the condos loan; it went into default, through the trustee sale process and eventually back to the bank. During this time, I educated myself about each aspect of the default process. I got lucky and was able to purchase the property from the bank at a steep discount.

¤ With experience of the default and REO process, I obtained my California real estate license in 1991 and set out to earn my real estate fortune. Although, I was young, inexperienced and undercapitalized my fortunes in real estate were planted within my psyche and future real estate endeavors were inevitable.

¤ In 1992, armed with a $2,000 credit card and a zest for marketing, I created a product called Simply Silk, a silk plant cleaner. With my consumer research in hand, I was able to land my first customer Price Club and quickly grew into one hundred twenty eight Price Club locations in less than two years. I hired and managed over one hundred twenty full time demonstrators and sixteen district managers.

¤ I continued to add to my product line expanding into several other categories. Soon I had over eighty five products and my company, The Webster Group, was in all major retailers; Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco, Sams Club, Target, Michaels Arts & Crafts, Linens and Things, Pet Smart, PetCo, Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, Albertsons and many other national chains. To this date, these stores still carry the products I introduced.

¤ In 2002 with a 150,000 SF distribution facility in San Bernardino and 100+ employees, I had had enough of the corporate retail world and decided to sell my business interest to my partner and moved to Palm Desert.

¤ With an inner passion to make good on my first attempt in real estate, I began to invest in real estate and applied my passion for marketing. Within a few short years, I was, most likely, the largest homebuyer in Riverside and San Bernardino county buying and selling hundreds of homes in just a few short years.

¤ Now with the worst being over and the market nearing the bottom of the depreciation cycle, passive investors are stepping back into buying rental properties, thus its an opportune time to fire up the home buying machine again and get to work with my partner Daniel Bruckner, another home buying machine in Southern California.
