@MRS7evilexis7: But the clay and the potter are one. There is no object and subject. We are caught in an illusion of separateness which causes us suffering. The song talks of acceptance and "giving over" but again the language assumes something that isn't true.

@jerigee Thank you! It is the crux of the issue. Parents want to succeed with their kids, but the effort required can be beyond their means—financially, emotionally, etc. So why not help them succeed? Seems simple to me. Please spread the word. Families need to know they are not alone.
