Well that is 14 years of studying ahadith, which is not studying the Qur'an (the point forever missed). The Qur'an does say it is clear (!). You take your time I was only addressing the fact that you thought our arguments were apologetic and the fact that the ayat were apparently irrelevant. If I have addressed that, then that is fine.

The third relates to 25:30 in that the Qur'an is the only thing which allows the Messenger to be a witness. It reinforces the fact that the Qur'an is the only guidance required for us to be Muslims. If ones single extra hadith were required, this would be a false ayah and the Qur'an would not be a grace/mercy.

Since you feel that these are irrelevant, do you have an alternative interpretation?

The next one appears to say that the Qur'an is a distinct explanation of all things, and thus only those who do not read the Qur'an can disagree. This also relates to 2:23, 17:88 and 28:49 in that those who accept other sources of "revelation" cannot prove themselves despite believing they can produce something like the Qur'an. We must judge all ahadith by this, and not one satisfies the criterion.
