Various footage of the Isle of Man which was filmed on 16mm by NR Smith, my grandfather - mostly, I believe, during the summer of 1938.

EDIT: also now some footage which isn't of the Isle of Man

This footage is basically presented as I found it. In several cases - footage which belongs together has ended up in different video files.

I have a telecine of this footage on Betacam SP Pro which was made in 1996 at Dean St Post. I made these low resolution samples from a VHS copy. I also have the original 16mm.

Any useful comments and observations I will add to the descriptions.
