TheVox...Biografy: After a few years spent playing homage to the songs of the Gallagher brothers throughout the pubs of their region (Marche), in 2005 they started to write their own songs demonstrating good creative skills, devotion to harmonizations and an increasingly personal and unique sound. In January 2006 they brought out their first self-produced demo of five unpublished songs (English lyrics) named "In front and behind...". At that time the name of the band was Mod On The Road; but it wouldn't be long before the four of them decided to rename themselves The Vox. This actually happened after they first played their new songs at the Barfly (Ancona), when they opened the concert of The Paddingtons (UK, Poptones). With renewed enthusiasm, the band worked hard at a new demo production that would be completed in the summer of 2006 ("Harry up!! From the underground"). This is the year for The Vox! In 2006 they start a never-ending live activity that allows them to share the stage with mainstream bands, both Italian and English (Vincent Vincent & The Villains, The View, The Delays, Meg ex 99 posse...). In September they produce their third demo ("The Vox -- Quella cinica stupida metrica"); this time the six songs are sung in Italian whereas only three of them are unpublished. In December the band enters the Red House Recordings (a well known professional recording studio in Italy) to record two of their songs. 2007 is also proving to be a good year for The Vox who never tire of playing and performing on the stages. They continue to share the stage with famous English bands (The Others) while they seriously compete with other Italian rock bands in prestigious live contests (finals of 'Sotterranea 2007'). Their style is unique now and there seems to be nothing that can halt their run towards major success!
