About Me:
Mantist is a well-established solo artist from Brisbane who has been performing consecutively for the last 5 years.
The currently 22 year old has performed in some of the most celebrated festivals in Brisbane such as Brisbane Festival, Zillmere Multicultural festival and he headlined in World Refugee day with a turn out of 13000 people. He performs in many small festivals such as Youth Day Festival, World Aids Day Festival and many clubs, pubs, birthday parties, even schools.
He's been selected for Queensland Music Award two years in a row for Best Song Writer by some of the biggest names in the music business. Mantist took part in Australian Poetry Slam 2011 and won by impressing judges with his passion and rhythmic delivery.
Mantist has been featured in many articles; street press and newspaper such as The Courier Mail, MX, City News, Scene magazine, The Chronicle the list goes on. Many radio stations such as 90.3 and 95.3 ABC Coast FM, Toowoomba City 87.6 FM, 4KW radio and 4ZZZ, have also interviewed him.
With fans following him from every area code, his career couldn't be any brighter. The question is how long it takes before some moneyman will put money on him. I have asked Mantist what his goal is now. He simply says that, "I got the game, I got the talent, I got the personality, and I got the enthusiasm", I'm ready to be signed by one of those major record labels". I guess it's only a matter of time.
