with death metal it does seem that if you learn to sweep a natural minor scale and throw in a flat 5 or a pinch harmonic here and there, you're laughing. i share your disdain for it. most of it anyway.

anybody notice that omar and cedric are terrible live? i appreciate these guys musical creatvity and studio output, but here they manage to sound like a bad TMV cover band with a singer who misses as many notes as he hits and guitarist who messes up simple parts he's been playing for years.
