Hey folks! My name is Brad Mann and I am currently living in Louisville Kentucky.
I am blind, but not totally and singing is one of my great passions, but I feel that it's ultimately my way of sharing the Gospel of God's only begotten Son, Jesus Christ with the world. I absolutely believe and know that He came to Earth as a humble servant to live a perfect life, suffer and die on the cross to forgive a sinner like me and on the third day, rise from the dead to justify me. That is,to make me right with God. He can do the same thing for you if you'll simply trust and truly believe.
Sin is another word for disobedience to God's commandments and laws. Romans 3/23 says
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
1st John 1:8-9 says
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
He is the bread of life and if you truly believe this, you'll ultimately be garanteed eternity with Him. He is also the only way to God the father, according to John 14:6.
One particularly important thing about this is that you cannot just believe this intelectually, that is, with your mind or lips, you must believe it with your whole heart.
I also know that Jesus is God in the flesh and He is part of the trinity, which is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in one. My ultimate desire is to see the Lord use this to bring people to repentance and salvation.
To repent means to turn from sin and Salvation means to be saved from this soon-coming day when those who do not know Him will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, also known as "Hell," where they will suffer ever-lasting punishment and eternal separation from God. In Matthew 7-21-23, Jesus Himself says:
Not everyone that saith unto me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, "Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, "I never knew you, depart from me, ye that work iniquity!"
So, if you are reading this profile and you do not know Him as your personal Savior and Lord, that is, if you do not have an intimate relationship with Him, I strongly, but lovingly urge you this moment to do the following:
Turn to Jesus, call out to Him, confess your sins, repent and believe this truth of His death and resurrection, ask Him to forgive you for your sins and receive Him as your personal Savior and Lord, because tomorrow may verry well be eternally too late.
In case you are wondering exactly when this event will take place, well, Jesus says in Matthew 24/36
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Not only do I enjoy singing as my ministry, but I also enjoy saluting people from other countries with either the playing or singing of their national anthem and it's for that reason, I have posted several a cappella versions of these. The list hereof consists those of Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and of course, my native land, the United States of America.
In addition to singing, some of my intrests are clocks that chime and strike, sports, taking road trips, my church, which is Clifton Baptist, and hanging out with folks. One more word I would like to add is that I'm a big marching band fan.
As far as choral groups go, I'm currently involved in the Louisville Chorus, which is a semiprofessional organization that performs both classical and pop, as well as my church choir.
I have also had many Earthly desires, but they are good ones and one of them is to perform the national anthem at a public sports venue, such as a ball park or arena,, Especially for one of our professional sports teams.
One more thing I would like to add regarding my blindness is this:
I know for sure that whether or not the Lord miraculously gives me my physical sight, that is His wise decision and it is perfectly clear to me that out of His kindness that is beyond all measure, He will work it out as He deems best.
