Hiya, I`m a singer/songwriter with a 4-octave range, born in Southampton (UK), and raised mostly in Perth, Australia. I was the 7th Sellaband recording artist crowd-funded by fans to $50,000 USD to record and distribute a pro album. "Fire & Snow" is the result, and you can buy the limited edition and regular edition cd's from all over the world, including amazon.co.uk and direct from Sellaband.

I used to have severe depression for many years, until I eventually recovered with the love and support of my beautiful family and friends (and without drugs). I have two gorgeous little girls, and a little baby boy born on May 5th 2008 (he was with me thoughout the recording of "Fire & Snow"). I hope I can be an inspiration to others to never let depression take you, and never give up on your dreams.

"Fire & Snow" was recorded in just over two days in Soho, London, in November 2007, at Dean St Studio (David Bowie etc), and produced by Mick Glossop (www.mickglossop.com), an amazing producer who has worked with Van Morrison, Frank Zappa, PIL, The Waterboys, Sinead O'Connor etc etc. The man is a legend. I wanted the album to have the flavour of the late 60's/early 70's, so we recorded it all together as a band, live in the studio, with just one or two takes per song. Overdubs for extra guitar, percussion and the backing vocals were done at Mick's home studio.

The musicians on the album were:
Johnny Scott (Van Morrisons guitarist/musical director for many years)
Liam Genockey (drums... Steeleye Span etc)
Tim Harries (bass.... Katie Melua, Brian Eno, Steeleye Span etc)
James Lascelles (keys/percussion/dulcimer.... Frank Zappa, Joan Armatrading etc).

The album was mastered by Kevin Metcalfe (U2, Paul McCartney, Queen, The Police, David Bowie, The White Stripes etc).
