@PaulosMaximus ...i can see your point. i train KFM (after 25 years of other martial arts including a 2nd dan in ju jitsu. if you actually grab the foot and start bending it about you lose time. better to grab, smash and keep moving.

hmmm...i see a lot of comments on vids like these..what it eventually boils down to is the trained against the untrained at the end of the day. Whatever your style or system train hard and be all you can be.

@MeomariAlionamde I trained in various Karate and ju jitsu (at which I am 2nd Dan) NOTHING i have tried even comes close to KFM... the whole point is to direct the situation and control the fight...and what is a "long range fight?????"

i hope this is not disrespectful, my opinion of Aikido as a truly effective system is quite low (i am 2nd Dan ju-jitsu and Karate) but i admire the spirit of all those who train hard, and some knowledge is better than none.
