@MetallicBill You're right, but Peter has ever declared he was sure that the band was able to survive his departure, and that he was happy that Genesis was selling so many records without him. He worked with Phil in the eighties, so I don't know why he wasn't there that night.

my dear, no need to be so vulgar. Genesis has done great things without Peter Gabriel: A Trick Of The Tail and Wind & Wuthering are great albums. Without Steve, no great album but great songs Mama for example...but not this! Anyway, it's only my opinion. Kind regards!

A tribute, the best version of this Joy Division song was recorded by New Order, even if the band was completely changing it's style. Something never dies!!!

Sorry for this iconolastic comment, If I like both eras, I definitely prefer Joy Division to new Order, but New Order's version of ceremony is better than Joy Div's (only my opinion)

My dear it's not a cover, most of the people yous se there were members of Joy Division. They may not sing right in tune, but remeber that Ian Curtis also didn't on stage.

But you might prefer Paul Young's version!
