I come on youtube for various reasons, mainly boredom and the wealth of knowledge (and hilarious 'facts' of the bible) that can be found here.

Politically i am slightly left of centre. I'm an atheist and have been for aslong as i can remember. i wasn't brought up into any religion and for that i'm grateful and have never actually asked my dad outright what his beliefs are although from what i can gather he is atheist/agnostic and raised me to be rational in my choices.

I am an atheist because its the only thing that makes sense. I don't claim to be a genius but i am no idiot and can see from the world around me, the facts presented and the information i have searched through that it is the ONLY logical conclusion. belief in a book written 1500 years ago, about events that happened 2000 years ago, with no facts or evidence, be it physical, physiological, practical or scientific is not just irrational but also delusional, stupid and dangerous.

using its true because its in the bible IS NOT EVIDENCE!!!!

my other concern about religion is the danger it poses to modern society and the advancement of it. i condemn and actively mock christianity (particularly the evangelical and fundamentalist movements) and judaism but deplore islam. islam is the single greatest danger to the world today. their belief that nothing can be said against their faith is bad enough but by claiming its a hate speech to censor the views of logical and ration people such as myself is dangerous. their (thankfully so far unsuccessful) attempts to bring sharia law to the western world should be opposed by every decent human being. just imagine a world with no democracy, no free speach, no freedom of press, no scientific advancement, the rejection of most technology, women as second class citizens used as toys for raping, stonings, condoning of violence against non-believers, no integration, NO ALCOHOL, no satire, no comedy, no music, no fast food, fatwa's..... i could go on forever, do you see the problem with that?

to the decent, reasonable liberal muslims. i delight in the fact that you integrate, contribute and advance our society and ask you to join the fight against this terrifying and dangerous extreme of your faith, it should never be allowed to take hold in modern society .

to anyone (generally PC uber liberals) who found that last paragraph offensive or racist, expressing a genuine concern is not racism just because i have criticised a different race! i am critical of every group in society, including my own as nothing in this world is perfect and above criticisim!

oh yeah, and to creationist.... seriously???
