This is a documentary of his excellent progress and achievments to show the importance of awareness, education, and early intervention. I begin in home A.B.A. THERAPY soon!

About this user
This site was started for autism awareness & the importance of EARLY intervention & therapy. It is my hope and prayer that in seeing my videos of my "autistic angel",Boston & the progress he is making by EARLY INTERVENTION & THERAPY(age 19 months @ time of diagnoses)- That it will be encouraging to others to do the same and that you see through my videos that there is HOPE & the earlier you catch this illness the better off your child and you will be.
I don't know what causes this, but I can attest that there is hope where there is love! I love every one of my little boys but Boston has been given to me for a God given purpose and because of his illness, I have become a more loving mother that appreciates EVERY MOMENT I HAVE BEEN BLESSED BY WITH THEM IN MY LIFE!
I have 4 boys, ages 18, 16, 14, & 34 months. My 3 oldest boys are "typical" teens, except for their ADD & ADHD.(which we now hear that these should be or may be added to the autism spectrum)The youngest is BOSTON (my autistic angel). He was developing typically until his MMR shot @ age 15mths. Then at 18 months our doctor visit came with concerns for his all of a sudden lack of all communication... no words, no sharing/interaction with others, no pointing, no hugs, no kisses, NOTHING showing emotion or concern for what others thought....
Immediately I took him to speech therapist, followed by other doctors, that I had to bug to death to get him in quicker than the 9 MONTH WAITING LIST!!!! 1 long month later I had Boston's diagnoses of Autism PDD and over the next 15 months since then... I have decided that his illness has become one of my biggest blessings in life... Being so young with the other boys, I had taken for granted that I was a MOM... not realizing how wonderful it is to have God bless you by giving me my children...
So Because of Boston's autism... I WILL NEVER TAKE FOR GRANTED AGAIN a time my children say "I love you mama", or when I am busy and they want my attention or to "hang on me"- I will never shrug them away, but instead enjoy the moment and appreciate that they can and want to give mama a kiss or a hug! I cherish every little step Boston takes towards learning his colors, or how to draw a line, or to catch a ball, or understand something, any thing he does or points out, or every sound he makes trying to learn a new word or sound or sign language...I pay attention and find joy in every moment that before I would have taken for granted!
I THANK GOD EACH DAY AND NIGHT FOR HIM AND MY OTHER BOYS AND THE PROGRESSES THAT HE IS MAKING....If I could I would have 10 more just like him I would!
So to you mothers out there that have typical kids...don't take them for granted
For those mothers who have ones that are not typical...enjoy them because you were special enough that God gave you these children to care for & be blessed by!
And for those mothers who can not have children of their own...I suggest you consider adopting one with non-typical needs, because they bring so much love and joy in so many ways that you can not imagine!!!...
GOD BLESS YOU ALL...NOW, TURN OFF THE COMPUTER AND GO LOVE ON THOSE KIDS!!! (oh after you watch my videos!)
