About Me:

I am 28. Im married to a wonderful husband and father to our Son Kole who was born on May 26th 2010. I love being a mommy. My philosophy about motherhood is do what works for you and your family, and dont look down on others for doing what they feel works for them! In my case that means, I breastfeed, cloth diaper, and 'wear' my baby. I made his baby food at home, and now that he has teeth he eats what we eat most of the time. :). I dont do the family bed, its just not for us, however I did let him snuggle in and sleep with us for his early morning feeding just before we get up for the day when he was still bf. I Breast fed till he was 1 year old. :) Motherhood is all I dreamed it would be and more. :) I started this youtoube channel to document my pregnancy and now Im documenting my journey into motherhood. Now Im documenting my current pregnancy! Ask any questions, Im an open book (mosttly :))
Im pregnant with baby #2! And so excited to start this journey again! Im a type 1 Diabetic and also have thyroid disorder which is managed with meds. I plan on doing the pregnancy and birth of this child as naturally as possible and have a Doula to help me along with that. :)

Ive worked with children since high school in one form or another. For about 7 years I was an assistant teacher and then lead teacher in the toddler room at 2 different daycares. After that I worked as a nanny/housekeeper for someone whose oldest child suffers from severe physical and mental handicaps. I took care of him and his 3 younger siblings for 2 years. I also help take care of my grandfather by filling his meds, paying his bills and driving him to all his appointments and shopping trips.

Schools:

I graduated from high school in 2001 and took classes to become a Doula in 2010. I can attend births now, but am not yet certified with any orginization. Ive been busy with my son, but when Im done having babies Ill be going back to the Doula thing! :)

Interests:

I love children, babies, and pregnancy. I enjoy movies, books, and music and being creative. Anything Artsy. Planning get togethers with friends and family.

Movies:

I think my favorite tv show has to be The Gilmore Girls. Movies I have always loved are The Labyrinth, 10 Things I hate About You, The Butterfly Effect, The Dark Crystal, The Breakfast Club, and there are tons of others

Music:

Im one of 'those' people, you know, the ones who like just about anything. lol. I have to say, I dont get techno though, sorry

Books:

Harry Potter, Anne Rice, anything that grabs my attention
