Firstly, I would like to welcome you to my youtube channel...thanks for stopping by and taking the time to view my videos and read my page. =) On this channel, I will be posting various videos on makeup tutorials, reviews, hauls, outfits of the day and some inspirational vlogs. Below you will find some frequently asked questions that I get on a daily basis.


FAQ's:


**Why did you start making youtube videos?

I started watching makeup/beauty related videos and I wanted to mark my progress and see if my makeup skill were improving over time. I had no makeup knowledge or experience before me joining youtube in february of 2009.


**Why do you talk like that?

I was raised in a suburban area where I went to private school...this is the way I was taught to speak. I speak like an educated woman.


**Where are you from?

Both my parents are from the US. Their parents and grandparents are from the US as well. I have no clue what my ethnic ancestry background leads to. As far as I'm concerned, I'm African-American.


**Are you in school and what's your major?

I am currently in college and I'm studying psychology. I plan to go to graduate school and then get my phD. I aspire to be a clinical psychologist.


**Are you a makeup artist?

In the past, I would have simply answered, "no", but recently I have been working on becoming a freelance makeup artist. Wish me luck! =) Turning a hobby into a passion and then career is a beautiful thing.


**What are some of your favorite makeup brands?

MAC, Bobbi Brown, MUF (Makeup Forever), Benefit, IMAN, Revlon, NYX


**Where are some of your favorite places to shop for clothes?

GUESS, Bebe, Calvin Klein, Forever21, BCBG, Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, Ralph Lauren Polo, H&M


**What colored contacts do you wear in most of your videos?

Unless I'm rocking my own eye color (which is dark brown), I am more than likely wearing my freshlook pure hazel contacts.


**Do you have a boyfriend?

yes i do. =)


**Do you have a myspace?

Nope.


**What do you use to record your videos?

In the past I used either my Microsoft Lifecam Show (my webcam) or my Samsung TL220 (my digital HD camera). Currently I use either my iSight (macbook pro webcam) or my Canon Powershot SX30 IS.


**What do you use to edit your videos with?

I currently use either iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
