"Black Death" reminded me so much of Valhalla Rising. Long quiet scenes in awesome and eerie landscapes, unknown danger from the locals, and horicfic gore. A total downer, but both are good movies. Valhalla is weirder though.

The problem isnt whether or not he gets his hand bit off. The problem is that this gator is no longer afraid of humans and that is what gets people killed. The same goes for bears and sharks. When people feed these beasts they learn to associate humans with food.
