Udja Temple Ministries is committed to the spiritual liberation of African people through the worship of the African Goddess. It is our belief that the African Goddess is the Original Womb and Creator of the universe and all things within. Our efforts are to bring the worship, reverence and faith in the Great Mother, the African Woman, to all African people thus bringing life, peace and happiness to the African Family.
Founded in 2008 by Majadi Baruti, Black Goddess Evangelist , Pan-Afrikan Nationalist, Writer, Poet, Researcher, Storyteller, Historian, Public Speaker, former radio and current internet broadcast journalist, he is also co-host of The Roof Garden, the online broadcast ministry of Udja Temple Ministries along with the brilliant Producer of the program, Susan Mitchell. Udja Temple has the singular purpose of restoring the image and worship of the Afrikan Woman as a Goddess in the spirits of Afrikan People
"She is as SHE has always been, Black Goddess!" Majadi Baruti
"In Black Goddess Consciousness, you, Black Woman, Afrikan Woman, are the Focal Component in the Divine Adornment that laces your life and the lives that are linked to you. And if you are the central element in the adornment, all eyes are on you, even if in ignorance you are only perceived peripherally or through a glass darkly. Yet this truth remains; all eyes are on you, Black Woman. " Susan Mitchell
What We Teach...Black Goddess Consciousness
"Black Goddess Consciousness is defined as the spiritual, experiential and intellectual study of the ancestral remembrance, acceptance of Afrikan Matriarchy and the Divinity, Sacredness and Holiness of the Great Mother/Divine Feminine in HER most ancient form as the Afrikan Woman. Black Goddess Consciousness is rooted in the ancient principles of the Goddess MAAT and thus propagates and proselytizes, self-healing, spiritual wellness, quality of life for the Afrikan Woman, Afrikan Family and Humanity."
