LEYENDA (formerly ARUNDO) - Folk - Medieval - Mittelalter LEYENDA - Folk - Medieval - Mittelalter LEYENDA is my Folkband getting inspiration from old european tales and musical traditions, from old norse and swedish up to spanish-sephardic songs. Formerly, we were known as ARUNDO; due to legal reasons we felt compelled to change our name to LEYENDA.

Hello everybody! In the next months, I´m starting to upload videos of my projects, mainly music
(violin music, medieval-folkrock-band ,,Arundo" , improvisation, piano duo, string quartet, songwriting, experimental things).

From time to time I will also add some strange little videos I like to create sometimes or vlogs about things I´m interested in.

I´m a musician (violin and somtetimes keys and other things), currently working as a violin teacher at the music school in Hannover, Germany. Besides, I´m working as a violinist.

Ensembles: String Quartet, Piano/Violin Duo, Medieval-Folkrock-Band "Arundo" (www.myspace.de/arundoband), LARP-Group "Hundsvolk" (www.myspace.de/hundsvolk).

I also play baroque violin and contemporary music.
Especially I like improvising, experimentating, writing and recording music. I´m also interested in film and theatre music and in crossover projects for example with literature or visual, plastic and performing arts. A while ago, I´ve been working as a teacher for music, german and drama.

Musical interests: Improvisation, Alternative, Songwriting, Folk, Gothic, Metal, Ambient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic, film and theatre music, 20th Century Avantgarde, strange sounds.

Other interests: nature, science, philosophy, science fiction, politics, theatre, arts, literature, weird things, elusive, ephemeral and transient things (yeah, i DID look op these words in the dictionary).
