Saw it live at the Met...The men were fantastic...This soprano is a disgrace!!!!! She cracked on every note above f. It doesn't sound quite as bad on the video, but still pretty bad. However I'm so glad that I sat so far in the back...She looks diabolical actually hideous...what an ugly person......

@operaticoentusiasta he's getting better and better...Listen to him 5 years ago, when everything was more insecure and not as resonant...He can now sing pretty much everything...no German tenor/singer has ever done so beautifully in the Italian rep before. anyone notice how she distorts the vowels...the voice is great, I've heard her live, and she sings with real feeling, but she seems badly coached...and is often flat...and I don't like how she thinks rolling your rrrrs is all you need to sound Italian....Kind of a fan but not completely

@metropolitan1966 True...the intonation thing is kind of weird. Maybe some coach was messing with her and this happened. There is another one on Youtube with her singing this aria and the intonation isn't so bad. Also in this one she isn't crescendoing on the first "oh patria mia". So I'm guessin...
