About this user

I have loved to cook since I was very little. Just about every memory I have growing up includes food. I traveled most of my life with my family and took trips in the family car up and down the east coast of the U.S. every summer. We would head out from our home in Florida up through to Maine, into New Brunswick and finally settling in at Nova Scotia, Canada . I was able to taste food from the south and north. My grandmother in Canada fed many every summer that worked on my grandparents farm and delivered a wonderful Irish Scottish cuisine from a wood burning stove, although the modern conveniences of an electric or gas stove was available. Back in the states my other grandmother cooked with a French flair and was precise and particular about her ingredients. I spent many years in restaurants big, small, elegant and home down cooking. Cooking is my passion and I hope you enjoy making these dishes as much as I do.
