I was fortunate enough as a kid for my folks to give me guitar lessons. I am very fortunate to spend my summers in Bloomington, IN. Where I met Larry Crane and Mike Wancek. Who played for Mellencamp at the time. I believe Mike still does. But I got to pester them and learn all their licks at the guitar store. I was teaching guitar lessons by the age of 15. I started my own bands over the years and played with several well known bands and artists. I was always into the rock, southern rock, and bluesy kinda stuff, since I it is only natural that I came back to my blues roots. So that is what all my stuff is all about now, most of it being retrospects on my life. Feelings hopefully everyone can relate to. Plus a little of boot stomping boogie woogie.

I went on to become a Luthier as well. I have a new respect for the instrument on that level also. I made custom guitars and repairs from 1996 to now. Now I concentrate on playing and writing music only. Being a musican first, a teacher second, and last but not least becoming a Luthier. I feel I am able to share educated information not just opinions on all these levels. I am also a left handed guitaist that plays right handed. Which has made for quits a few interesting adjustments to my technique over the years. I learned this way to make it easier to get lessons and decent instruments as I feel all us south-paws are kinda screwed with decent left handed instruments
