It all started in 2003, after a late-night exchange of words with the owner of a kebab joint in Amsterdam. As he threw us out we decided that he had to be labelled MAFFIA. So we made some stickers, a clean and simple typographic design of the word MAFFIA (this original design is still our logo, by the way). It started out as a joke but in no time we had pretty much labelled everything in Amsterdam and people started asking about it. MAFFIA literally became the word on the streets. So bada bing bada boom, we got busy and developed a line of nice t-shirts, sweats and hoodies for both men and women and within a year we started MAFFIACLOTHING.COM. Ever since then we've been evolving constantly, building the brand and creating a solid line of garments. Nowadays MAFFIA stands for strong and clean visual design, high qualitity prints and details. And we still love to label things.
